Diego Doigneau
Born in Argentina, he studied music and theater both in Buenos Aires and in London. Since 2008, he has been the resident DJ at Negracha Tango Club, the largest milonga in London, for nine years, and has also played music at many other milongas in London and throughout the United Kingdom.
He has participated as a DJ in major tango festivals and milongas around the world, including River Tango in London, Mediterranean Summer Tango Festival in Porec, Brussels Tango Festival, Lisbon Tango Festival, Southern California Tango Championship and Festival, Milano Tango Pop, Lisbon Tango Marathon, Araka in Parma, Rome Tango Fest, Ljubljana Tango Festival, CircuiTo Milonguero in Turin, Festivalito in Edinburgh, Tango Torino Festival, Milano Festival, Damn Tango in Sweden, Otoño en Palermo Tango Festival, Bella Ciao Marathon in Tours, France, Two Hearts Tango Accademia, Pasional Milonga in Porto, El Abrazo in Skipton UK, as well as Practica X, Viva la Pepa, El Motivo, Las Malevas, and Milonga Discepolo in Buenos Aires, among many others.
In addition to his work as a DJ, he is one of the organizers of Tango Etnia and founder of Milonga 3D in London. He is currently the organizer of Milonga Un Placer in London. As a DJ, he creates a journey for dancers through music, selecting songs to vary the atmosphere of the night. He mainly plays orchestras from the golden age, but also adds modern orchestras to the mix depending on the evening.
He has a deep love for music, the night, and keeping people dancing even after the milonga has ended.
