Carlos and Mirella are partners both on the dance floor and in life. They have been together for more than 14 years and happily married for 9. Together they strive for perfection in their dance and companionship, pushing boundaries, and their motto is: "As a dancer, you never stop learning!" Because being a true professional means committing to continuous training. The couple is known and appreciated for their elegance, subtlety, and musical finesse, as well as for their spectacular and impressive performances. This promising European couple excites tango lovers around the world with their natural, fun, and well-structured way of teaching.

The career of Carlos and Mirella began in 2011, when they decided to work together. With Mirella’s technical training, as a graduate of the Dance Academy, and Carlos’s years of experience abroad, they formed a dance couple that complements each other in every aspect.

Every year, Carlos and Mirella travel to Buenos Aires, the heart of tango, to study together and also to represent the Netherlands in the World Championship held annually in Argentina. After years of hard training, in 2016 they became the first Dutch couple to represent the Netherlands in the final of this World Championship, in which only 40 couples from around the world participate after rigorous preliminaries with hundreds of couples. And it didn’t stop there. For 7 years—2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2025—Carlos and Mirella have had the honor of representing the Netherlands in the final! But Carlos and Mirella not only represent the Netherlands in Argentina. They also achieved the necessary titles in Europe:
