Mingo Rodríguez is a DJ, organizer, and vinyl collector from Tenerife Island.He started out in 2008 and began DJing in 2009 at the Tango Club of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

In 2010, already in Tenerife, he created his traditional-style milonga “La Garufa” and in 2013 the milonga “Tanda Abierta,” which has welcomed more than a hundred debutant DJs or those passing through the island.

His journey into the world of tango vinyl began in 2018 and his current collection includes more than 2,000 LPs, specializing in Japanese vinyl. Passionate about sound quality, Mingo considers himself an audiophile who always strives for excellence in his sets, following the Golden Age of tango with some surprises in his musical selection.

He is currently a member of the Tenerife Tango Association, organizing the fourth edition of the Tenerife Tango Marathon, among other events.
