04 INDIVIDUAL TECHNIQUE

Individual Technique (joint for both roles)

Tuning the body as an instrument is tuned.

  • In-depth study of the axis.
  • Height management.
  • Reference points of the body to control the order of oneself.
  • Speed and precision.
  • Angles and amount of rotation in the pivots.
  • Step sizes.
  • The "Horizontal" weight in displacement.

05 INDIVIDUAL TECHNIQUE

Leader Technique - THE FUNDAMENTALS The technique class is based on the work of the main concepts in tango explored at a high level. Working about the pillars for the construction of the dance (walk, "ochos", turns and changes of direction) we will start practicing the pushing, the resistances, the changes of weight, the pivots and the twist. Finally we will look for the fluidity of the movements in the turns such as crosses, "lápices" and "enrosques" .

Chacarera

Dance of the Argentine Folklore, is a festive and celebratory dance danced in couple although can also be danced in groups. Emphasizing the rhythm, basic step, posture and choreography a challenge to coordinate feet and arms in a fun environment. Daniel invites us to explore the physical and spiritual landscape of the chacarera.

Argentine Folklore Dance, undoubtedly it is the most romantic, sensual and poetic dance. Maybe if you remember your first love, this is the closest feeling that Zamba brings you again. It's a call that invites you to dance in couple. We will work basic step and perception. Recommended to bring handkerchief or scarf.

With four basic elements you will create your step, the key will be to give you some secret keys so that your sequence with the Music becomes Tango.
