ABOUT WMS

Workshop Milonga Sevilla (WMS) is a tango festival held annually in Seville (Andalusia, Spain), in the month of February. It consists of workshops and tango master classes given by recognized professional teachers and dancers, milongas and galas with tango dance shows and live tango orchestra or musical selection. The promoters and organizers of the event are the tango dancers and teachers couple Gaston Godoy and Laura Atienza, known as Gneracion Tango.

WMS started in 2009 with the goal of promoting and bringing to amateur dancers an event where Argentine Tango is the protagonist. In 2024 the 14th edition of the festival will be held. Its trajectory and matureness makes it possible to offering today a festival that goes across borders receiving participants from everywhere with the main goal of enjoying tango in an incomparable framework as is this beautiful city of Andalusia.
